Eclectic Method–Breve historia del sampleo (por Iohanna Kuppers)

electric methodEste video nos lleva a un corto recorrido por la historia del sampleo de sonidos, tomando distintos fragmentos de temas muy conocidos y su utilización en otros.
Desde la implementación del Mellotron durante los 60s al recorte de diferentes elementos para incorporarlos en bases hip hop o hits bailables de lo 80s y 90s pueden verse en Brief History Of Sampling de Electric Method (www.eclecticmethod.net).
A modo de juego, este breve compilado puede escucharse con los ojos cerrados para ir detectando estas pequeñas partes reutilizadas en tracks de distintas épocas.
De todos modos, van a poder percibir como muchos de los fragmentos son parte de montones de canciones que resuenan en el inconciente colectivo. De hecho, a veces podemos ver como solo un sampleo fue parte de varias canciones a la vez.
